CCP Scholarships

Carolina Collaborative Prep scholarships are intended to assist current students in need of financial assistance at CCP. If you may benefit from this scholarship, please email Eileen Stanczak at eileen@carolinacollaborativeprep.com.

North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority Grant 

The North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority (NCSEAA) offers scholarship programs to students requiring special education that are seeking a private or home school alternative. Carolina Collaborative Prep is an approved provider for the Education Savings Account (ESA+). Your child may be eligible for the below scholarship while attending Carolina Collaborative Prep. Education Savings Account (ESA+)

​The Education Savings Account (ESA+) is for eligible students with disabilities in Kindergarten through 12th grade, to provide an option for parents to pay tuition, fees, and some other expenses at a participating nonpublic school or homeschool. 

 

  • Up to $9,000  per student, per school year, Students with certain designated disabilities may be eligible to receive $17,000 a year.

  • No out-of-pocket expenses (provides families with an electronic debit account)

  • Student must have Individualized Education Program (IEP) (DEC-3)

  • Can be used for home schools

  • No income eligibility requirement

New students – Application opens February 1, 2023. The priority deadline is March 1. The application may remain open after March 1, subject to the availability of funds.

Kids with PossAbilities

Funding therapy, assistive technology and educational scholarships for children

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

​

In order to qualify for funding through Kids with PossAbilities, you must be eligible for an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) through your county’s Children’s Developmental Services Agency or an Individualized Education Program (IEP) through your School System. Generally, a child is delayed by 30% in one area or 25% in two or more areas to qualify for an IFSP or IEP. We will also accept private evaluations that meet this criterion. Kids with PossAbilities serves children in the Greater Charlotte Area. Funding is limited to $1,000 per child per year.
